Global Litigation Top 50

The Global Litigation Top 50 ranks the largest 50 firms in the world by the litigation and arbitration revenue they generate. We look at financial metrics such as total revenue, revenue per litigation partner and revenue per litigation lawyer and litigation revenue per jurisdiction as well as headcount trends across the time period for which we have data.

The report tracks headcount trends in particular and has been tracking this data in key disputes centres (London, New York, Washington, Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris and Geneva) for several years. It is consequently the only guide in the world that has comparative data in this respect.

The report provides an exclusive overview of the health of the global litigation market and headcount trends in the main jurisdictions. It reflects trends in the litigation market such as which types of disputes are currently particularly active and which are likely to be the busiest in the coming years, and also highlights the strategic moves the world’s leading firms are making in order to maintain their position at the head of the global disputes market.

The report focuses on some of the most topical issues in the litigation world, with a focus this year on why London risks losing its position as a global disputes centre. It also highlights key lateral hires made by the world’s top firms globally.
